Mindful Apprentice Wins Employer Award

Mindful apprentice Aiysha Lally won the Apprentice of the Year category at her employer’s apprentice awards last week.

Aiysha works for Tulip Ltd, a nationwide consumer food company. She is studying her Assistant Accountant apprenticeship with Walsall College and Mindful Education.

Tulip Ltd employ over 120 apprentices in a number of fields, and ran the awards as part of their National Apprenticeship Week celebrations.

Gabriella Labrum, HR Advisor at Tulip, commented on Aiysha’s win:

“Aiysha was a very strong contender for this title, producing work of the highest quality and putting great thought and dedication into every piece of work she delivers.

She is inspirational and passionate and a great exponent of the Tulip brand. And added to all the above, she is great to work with, approaching everyone and everything with the same can-do and positive attitude. She really is the model apprentice.”

Debbie Evans, Aiysha’s Trainer-Assessor at Walsall College, added:

“It is a pleasure to support Aiysha through her Assistant Accountant apprenticeship. Her hard work and positive approach make her Apprentice of the Year award very well deserved, and I look forward to seeing her succeed in her career in accounting!”
