The Mindful Education marketing team is providing free promotional resources to our college partners to help spread the message about the government’s apprenticeship incentive scheme.
During the Summer Economic Update in July, Rishi Sunak, Chancellor of the Exchequer, announced the launch of the apprenticeship incentive scheme which will reward businesses for hiring new apprentices.
Under this new scheme, small to medium sized-businesses will receive up to £2,000 for each new apprentice they hire until 31st January 2021. This funding is in addition to any apprenticeship levy funding businesses may already be entitled to.
This initiative represents a fantastic opportunity for colleges to engage with employers and build upon their current apprenticeship offer. Naturally it has been a challenging time economically, however with the economy set to grow by more than 10% in the third quarter of the year following the downturn in March and April, the autumn term will be a good time to proactively speak with employers.
For each of our college partners, we have created a tailored promotional package that provides useful tools and resources to highlight the benefits of the incentive scheme to employers.
We will be sending out the promotional package to college marketing teams in the next couple of weeks. It will include the bespoke video below, as well as a college-branded flyers, blog posts and social media content.
