Mindful Education are proud to be sponsoring the Finance, Legal and Professional Services categories at the BAME Apprenticeships Awards 2020, which will take place virtually from 6pm on Wednesday 11th November. While we won’t be together to celebrate at the Edgbaston Stadium, the organisers at Thinkfest have gone all out to bring the experience to the comfort of your own home.
Delegates for the event will have the opportunity to go into a ‘virtual lobby’ and network with each other. They will also be able to have group conversations as they would do at a real live event. The main event proceedings will be broadcast on the BAME Apprenticeship Awards YouTube channel from 7pm.
The live event is being hosted by Tez Ilyas (Comedian and star of BBC hit comedy show Man Like Mobeen) and Remel Remel (award-winning British TV presenter Radio presenter and host of the Saturday Afternoon show on CAPITAL XTRA).
Mark Mckenna, Managing Director at Mindful Education said: “We are honoured to be supporting this wonderful cause once again and we are looking forward to engaging in another great event – albeit with a difference this year”.
Over 100 apprentices were shortlisted for awards across a wide range of industry sector categories. As well as recognising the apprentices, the awards will also recognise employers and learning providers.
“This year has been fantastic, the quality of the apprentices has been phenomenal and it has been a pleasure to apart of such an amazing cause that really highlights diversity in apprenticeships.” Olga Bottomley Head Judge of the BAME Apprenticeship Awards.
