Support for Students
Information regarding the new lockdown and college closures:
Students and apprentices studying a Mindful Education course should continue to study at home as usual. Online lessons will be released in line with your existing course calendar. Colleges will be closed for most students until mid-February so sessions with your college tutor will be online and your tutor will contact you to confirm arrangements. New course launches during January and February will continue as planned with live-online inductions.
Students can continue their studies seamlessly on the Mindful Education Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) where lessons will be available as scheduled.
Extended Access for Current Students
Free additional 6-month access for all 2020/21 learners
All existing 2020/21 learners will have access to their online learning with us for an additional 6 months free of charge. This is to enable learners to complete qualifications which might be delayed due to college closures and the postponement of assessments. This extension has been applied automatically to all courses.
Free extended access for all remaining 2019/20 learners until 30 June 2021
We are aware of some existing 2019/20 learners who are still yet to sit all of their exams (many of whom would have been scheduled to finished their qualifications this month). To help with this, we will be providing our remaining 2019/20 learners with free online access to their course up to 30 June 2021. This extension should ensure that you are able to complete your qualifications successfully.
A comprehensive user guide is available to enable you to get the best learning experience from your Mindful Education course. To access the guide, along with answers to our frequently asked questions, log in to the Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) and click ‘Help and Support’ in the top menu, then select ‘User Guide and FAQs’ from the drop down menu. The user guide can be downloaded and printed if you wish.
We strongly advise all new students to watch the VLE demo video, which is in the introduction section of your course. This will provide a good overview of the platform and how to get the most out of your course.
