New Administration Assistant Apprenticeship Level 2

We are pleased to announce the launch of our brand new Administration Assistant Apprenticeship Level 2. The new programme will be available to tutors from 1 September 2026, with learner enrolment beginning on 21 September 2026.

At Mindful Education, we understand the challenges that come with introducing a new qualification. That’s why this programme has been carefully developed to support tutors and learners, helping delivery teams feel confident, prepared and fully supported throughout the duration of the course.

 

Built with learners in mind

The Administration Assistant Apprenticeship has been designed around accessibility, engagement and real-world application. Learning content is structured into manageable, bite-sized chunks that help learners build confidence gradually while developing practical workplace knowledge and skills.

Each unit has been carefully mapped to the apprenticeship standard, ensuring a clear and logical sequence of learning throughout the programme. Tutors can easily see what is being delivered and when, making lesson planning more straightforward and reducing preparation time.

Our approach focuses on helping learners truly understand concepts rather than simply preparing for assessments. Scenarios, exemplars and workplace-focused activities encourage learners to apply their knowledge in meaningful contexts, helping them build skills that are relevant beyond the classroom.

 

Supporting tutors

Launching a new qualification often means significant preparation for teaching teams. Tutors need time to familiarise themselves with specifications, create lesson plans and identify the most effective ways to support learners.

Working in partnership with Mindful Education helps make this process easier.

Written by leading academics and subject specialists, the programme includes a comprehensive suite of ready-to-use resources available through our bespoke Virtual Learning Environment (VLE). These materials are designed to support tutors every step of the way, providing greater flexibility and reducing administrative pressure.

Online and On Campus delivery

The Administration Assistant Apprenticeship will be delivered using Mindful Education’s Online and On Campus approach.

Learners study key concepts online before attending classroom sessions, enabling tutors to deliver more focused, learner-driven teaching on campus. This approach helps maximise classroom time, allowing tutors to concentrate on areas where learners need the most support.

Through the VLE, tutors also have access to comprehensive analytics that provide valuable insight into learner participation and progress. Tutors can review which questions learners have attempted, identify misconceptions and use this information to shape classroom delivery more effectively.

This combination of online study and collaborative classroom learning creates a more engaging and supportive learning experience for learners while also easing delivery pressures for tutors.
