VLE updates for learners

We regularly survey learners to find out about their experience as an Online and On Campus student.
The feedback that we get from these surveys is invaluable in helping us in our mission to set new standards in digital education.
In response to recent survey results, we have made several important updates to our Virtual Learning Environment (VLE). These changes will enhance the learner experience by supporting independent learning and providing targeted guidance prior to assessments.
Here’s what’s new:
Learner Sequences of Learning
Each course now includes a clearly structured Sequence of Learning, located in the Introduction/Lessons Overview section and Planning your Revision page on the AAT and NALP VLE. This sits alongside a mapping document, helping learners understand exactly what they’re expected to learn – and providing reassurance that all necessary content is covered.
Planning Your Revision (AAT and NALP)
We’ve added a Planning Your Revision page specifically for AAT and NALP learners. This new section offers practical strategies and guidance to help learners structure their revision and feel more confident going into assessments.
Lesson Materials Rebranded
‘Lesson Materials’ have been rebranded as Study Text. These now appear at both the beginning and end of every lesson. At the end of each lesson, they’re grouped under a new Lesson Materials header, which also includes Info Sheets and How To guides, making everything easier to find in one place.
